The production area of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG is located in the north-eastern reaches of the Veneto Region, about 50 km from Venice and about 100 km from the Dolomites. It stretches between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and the steepness of the hillsides present real challenges for winemakers. The views of the vineyards, spread out on steep verdant hillsides surrounded by woods (20,000 hectares) make for a truly stunning landscape.

This enchanting area is equidistant from the mountains and the sea, and boasts a mild climate and a centuries-old winemaking tradition. It comprises 15 municipalities: Cison di Valmarino, Colle Umberto, Conegliano, Farra di Soligo, Follina, Miane, Pieve di Soligo, Refrontolo, San Pietro di Feletto, San Vendemiano, Susegana, Tarzo, Valdobbiadene, Vidor and Vittorio Veneto.
